Australian GIGANTOUR Four-Hour 'Metal Marathon' To Air Wednesday Night

MTV Australia is presenting a four-hour "Metal Marathon" for the upcoming Australian Gigantour tour this Wednesday, October 18 beginning at 9:30 p.m. (Australian EST). The special edition of the "Headbanger's Ball" show will be hosted by Andrew Haug of Triple J's national metal radio program "Full Metal Racket". Haug is also drummer for prolific Australian metal act CONTRIVE, which released its debut album in 2005, titled "The Meaning Unseen" and mixed by Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, DARK TRANQUILLITY). There will be a ton of clips shown — from DOWN to CRYPTOPSY to MASTODON, ARCH ENEMY, MEGADETH, SOULFLY, DRAGONFORCE and stacks more.
